STATE TRANSMISSION LATE MODEL SERIES
The biggest turn out of cars this season, 27 cars qualified!! Amber is back in the drivers seat! Amber in the #35 car qualifies 11th with a 19.406 and Angela in the #30 car, qualifies with a 20.071 in 25th position.
The "Main Event" started at 10:30 p.m. with a 4 car invert. The #30 car showed signs of pushing. On lap 12, the #35 car moved into 10th and the #30 car in 21st spot. Amber in the #35 car, driving aggressively spins in turn 4, putting her down one lap. By lap 31 Angela in the #30 car, has moved into 11th position. Lap 40, the #35 car enters the pits, putting her down 2 laps.
Lap 57, the #35 car makes contact with the #20 car crimping up the nose pretty good. Lap 60, Amber losses the air box, throwing water from her #35 car...out of the race.
Angela continues to run the #30 ZNETIX car with minimal problems and finishes in 13th...and Amber wraps it up finishing in 19th.
