"Tri-State Late Model Series"
Amber qualified 15th out of a 20 car field, with a qualifying time of 19.836.
Amber made a few mistakes on the start. In turn three, going for the green flag, she got into the back of the #12 car, Ron Bemis, and rolled up the nose of the car, not once, but twice. With only cosmetic damage to the nose of the car, Amber was a little more cautious on the restart. Once the race was underway, Amber settled down and with the help of veteran race car driver, George Jefferson, spotting for her; pulling her through the 75 lap race with minimal damage.
There were some lengthy "red flags" during the course of the race. Amber eventually went down one lap with approximately five laps remaining; finishing the race in 11th position.
